About

Our mission is to promote food equity in our community by providing access to freshly grown medicinal herbs and plant starts.

We are proud to be the first Black women-owned herb farm and plant nursery in East Point, GA.

Established and solely operated by Patty Lacrete in 2022, BHPN is dedicated to sustainability, education, and community engagement. We offer a unique selection of medicinal and culinary herbs, as well as pollinator-friendly plants.

We specialize in cultivating over 60 varieties of herb starts, particularly in medicinal and culinary herbs. Our offerings include herb starts for home gardeners, wholesale seedlings for regional plant stores, and local farmers.

Our farm is built on permaculture principles and organic practices, including crop rotation, integrated pest management, and cover cropping. This commitment to ecological stewardship allows us to cultivate not only plants but also a healthier ecosystem.

It is both an honor and a pleasure to provide my customers with freshly grown medicinal herbs and I am dedicated to delivering high-quality plants that support their health and well-being.

Thank you for helping me turn this dream into reality!
